Sava River Day – Over 200 Participants Cleaned the Sava Riverbank

The Docloop team has continued its tree-planting project this year, which we launched in 2023, with the goal of leaving a meaningful and lasting impact on nature.
The idea behind the project, “One partner – one tree,” is simple: every partner we collaborate with symbolically receives their own tree. This way, each business partnership gains an additional dimension – a mark that remains in nature.
As part of this initiative, Docloop supported the planting of 1,000 sessile oak saplings. The first 300 saplings were planted today on Fruška Gora, together with members of the Docloop team and the expert staff of Fruška Gora National Park.
Planting trees is a small step with a long-term impact. Every new tree contributes to cleaner air, the preservation of nature, and a healthier environment for all of us.
What makes this project special is that it brings people together. Docloop colleagues, our partners, and friends of the company joined forces to plant the trees, turning this initiative into more than just an ecological action – it became an opportunity to do something good and meaningful together.
For years, Docloop has been helping companies digitize their processes to reduce paper usage and improve efficiency. The tree-planting project is a natural extension of this mission, showing that through technology – and concrete initiatives – we can contribute to a more sustainable and responsible future.

At Docloop, we believe that successful partnerships should leave a lasting mark not only in the business world but also in nature. That is why in 2022. we launched the initiative “One Partner – One Tree”, with the goal of planting one tree for every partner we collaborate with.
Our green journey continued in cooperation with the Fruška Gora National Park, this time in the yard of the Jovan Grčić Milenko Elementary School in Beočin. During the event, 16 pines and 4 linden trees were planted with the help of first and fifth-grade students, their teachers, and the school principal. The children took part in the planting with great enthusiasm, becoming an active part of creating a healthier and more beautiful environment.
In addition to the ecological activity, the students also participated in the educational part of the event and a mathematics workshop titled “Strategic Planning.” Through teamwork and competition, they developed logical thinking and planning skills, while the workshop winner was rewarded with a gift.
This initiative once again demonstrates that sustainability is inseparably linked with education and community. Docloop will continue to grow the “One Partner – One Tree” initiative in the future, contributing to nature conservation together with our partners and inspiring younger generations.

On the occasion of International Danube Day, Docloop took part in organizing an environmental cleanup of the Danube riverbank on July 1st. In cooperation with AIESEC Serbia, Jaffa Cakes, and Zelenilo Beograd, the initiative aimed to protect the environment and actively engage the local community in preserving natural resources.
A joint contribution
This action was the result of successful collaboration between the private sector, a youth organization, and a public utility. The Docloop team, together with AIESEC volunteers and with the support of partners, removed waste from the Danube riverbank at the Great War Island in Belgrade and raised awareness of the importance of preserving waterways.
Through this initiative, Docloop reaffirmed its commitment to supporting activities that promote sustainable development and socially responsible business practices.

In honor of World Bee Day, the Docloop team organized a hands-on environmental initiative aimed at supporting pollinators and raising awareness about the critical role bees play in preserving our ecosystems.
The event was held in collaboration with JGL Pharma at a pollinator garden near Silosi in Belgrade. Our focus was on planting nectar-rich flowers, learning more about these fascinating creatures, and experiencing their world up close. We had the rare opportunity to observe live beehives and witness the intricate workings of their micro-society.
Why Bees Matter More Than Ever
Bees and other pollinators are vital for biodiversity and global food security. Without them, many crops and wild plants wouldn’t be able to reproduce, impacting not just agriculture but entire ecosystems.
Sadly, bee populations are declining due to pollution, pesticide use, climate change, and habitat loss. That’s why local action and awareness are more important than ever—starting with small, meaningful steps like planting bee-friendly flowers.
What We Did
During the event, we:

Planted 24 mint and 24 geranium plants, chosen for their benefits to pollinators

Took part in an interactive educational workshop about bees and their importance

Got an up-close look at functioning beehives and even spent time with the bees

In the spirit of shared responsibility for the environment and future generations, on the symbolic date of December 12th, Docloop organized a green initiative during which we planted 12 carefully cultivated ash trees, approximately 10 years old, in the municipality of New Belgrade, along Milutin Milankovic Boulevard.
This initiative, carried out with the support of the Municipality of New Belgrade, Public Utility Company for Greenery, and our valuable partners Ecoserein, Energy Star, SDT Group, Novosti, Printec, and Dragon Maritime, symbolizes our commitment to preserving nature and improving the quality of life in urban areas.
Why is ecology important?
Every tree planted is a step closer to a healthier and cleaner environment. Ash trees, as a long-lived and resilient species, plays a crucial role in reducing air pollution, regulating temperature, and creating pleasant urban landscapes.
These trees not only bring life to the cityscape but are also significant allies in the fight to preserve ecosystems. Their presence symbolizes our desire for a healthier and more sustainable environment for all generations.

In line with the growing awareness of the importance of environmental conservation, companies Docloop doo and Ecoserein have joined forces with the Public Enterprise of Fruška Gora National Park to commemorate World Forest Day in an effective and inspiring manner. As part of our committed initiative, which planned the planting of 600 oak saplings, on Thursday, March 14th, we successfully planted more than 115 trees. This commendable effort is not merely a symbolic gesture but a concrete action that will contribute to the preservation of ecosystems and the creation of a healthier and cleaner environment for future generations.
As part of this comprehensive action, we designed an educational segment that attracted significant attention from participants. During this segment, representatives from the management of the Public Enterprise of Fruška Gora National Park shared their extensive knowledge on the biodiversity of this exceptional natural treasure. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the diverse plant and animal species inhabiting the park, as well as to understand more deeply the challenges this ecologically important area faces today. Through open and inspiring discussion, attendees gained insight into the complexity of preserving natural habitats and the role each individual can play in protecting and enhancing these precious ecosystems.
After completing the afforestation work at the Terazije site in the heart of Fruška Gora National Park, together with our partners and clients, we organized an unforgettable event as the final seal of the successfully completed job. This moment of gathering was not only an opportunity to celebrate the progress made in nature conservation but also a chance to strengthen mutual cooperation and exchange ideas. In a relaxed atmosphere of socializing, all volunteers had the opportunity to discuss further steps in environmental conservation and enjoy a meal with a view of the newly planted oak saplings that will grow and contribute to the richness of this beautiful natural oasis.
Docloop, as an environmentally conscious company engaged in business digitalization and the first licensed information intermediary by the Ministry of Finance for the exchange of electronic invoices and other electronic documents, generously included the nonprofit organization Otisak in the entire process of organizing green actions. Docloop, Otisak, and Ecoserein have already successfully organized an afforestation action in March 2023. The tradition continues, and the collaboration is planned to become more frequent, with more companies that wish to contribute to a greener future getting involved. As part of our ecological platform 0tisak, we conducted a reforestation campaign in collaboration with the Public Enterprise Srbijašume and the company Ecoserein. During this initiative, 350 new poplar trees were planted at the Forest Management Unit Rit, marking World Forest Day.
