Danube Riverbank Cleanup: Docloop and AIESEC in Action
On the occasion of International Danube Day, Docloop took part in organizing an environmental cleanup of the Danube riverbank on July 1st. In cooperation with AIESEC Serbia, Jaffa Cakes, and Zelenilo Beograd, the initiative aimed to protect the environment and actively engage the local community in preserving natural resources.
A joint contribution
This action was the result of successful collaboration between the private sector, a youth organization, and a public utility. The Docloop team, together with AIESEC volunteers and with the support of partners, removed waste from the Danube riverbank at the Great War Island in Belgrade and raised awareness of the importance of preserving waterways.
Through this initiative, Docloop reaffirmed its commitment to supporting activities that promote sustainable development and socially responsible business practices.
Key objectives of the initiative
Ecosystem protection: removing waste from the natural environment
Participant education: raising awareness about the importance of recycling and water preservation
Community engagement: fostering cross-sector and intergenerational cooperation
Looking ahead
Docloop remains dedicated to participating in projects that have a positive impact on both the community and the environment. These activities are not exceptions but part of a long-term sustainability strategy we are developing together with our employees, partners, and the wider community.
