e-Delivery Note 2026: A New Obligation and What It Means for Your Business
Digital transformation in Serbia doesn’t stop with e-invoicing. The next big step is the e-Delivery Note, a document that becomes mandatory in January 2026 for the public sector and all businesses dealing with excise goods, and from October 2027 for the entire private sector.
What is an e-Delivery Note?
Put simply, an e-Delivery Note is an electronic document that tracks the movement of goods from sender to recipient. It contains the same data as the traditional paper delivery note: who is sending, who is receiving, what goods are being shipped, in what quantity, and when they were handed over.
The key difference is that this document is no longer printed or signed by hand—it is exchanged through the government’s information system and carries the same legal weight as its paper version.
Who is obliged to use it?

From January 1, 2026 → the public sector and all businesses trading in excise goods (e.g. fuel, alcohol, tobacco).

From October 1, 2027 → all private sector companies engaged in B2B transactions.

In practice, this means that most private companies will already be required to use e-Delivery Notes starting January 2026, since many purchase excise goods such as coffee. When a supplier issues an e-Delivery Note, the receiving party is legally required to accept and process it.
Why is it being introduced?
The goal is clear: greater transparency and better control of goods flows. The state gains better insight into trade activity, while companies benefit from faster and more secure document exchange.

At Docloop, we believe that successful partnerships should leave a lasting mark not only in the business world but also in nature. That is why in 2022. we launched the initiative “One Partner – One Tree”, with the goal of planting one tree for every partner we collaborate with.
Our green journey continued in cooperation with the Fruška Gora National Park, this time in the yard of the Jovan Grčić Milenko Elementary School in Beočin. During the event, 16 pines and 4 linden trees were planted with the help of first and fifth-grade students, their teachers, and the school principal. The children took part in the planting with great enthusiasm, becoming an active part of creating a healthier and more beautiful environment.
In addition to the ecological activity, the students also participated in the educational part of the event and a mathematics workshop titled “Strategic Planning.” Through teamwork and competition, they developed logical thinking and planning skills, while the workshop winner was rewarded with a gift.
This initiative once again demonstrates that sustainability is inseparably linked with education and community. Docloop will continue to grow the “One Partner – One Tree” initiative in the future, contributing to nature conservation together with our partners and inspiring younger generations.

On the occasion of International Danube Day, Docloop took part in organizing an environmental cleanup of the Danube riverbank on July 1st. In cooperation with AIESEC Serbia, Jaffa Cakes, and Zelenilo Beograd, the initiative aimed to protect the environment and actively engage the local community in preserving natural resources.
A joint contribution
This action was the result of successful collaboration between the private sector, a youth organization, and a public utility. The Docloop team, together with AIESEC volunteers and with the support of partners, removed waste from the Danube riverbank at the Great War Island in Belgrade and raised awareness of the importance of preserving waterways.
Through this initiative, Docloop reaffirmed its commitment to supporting activities that promote sustainable development and socially responsible business practices.

In honor of World Bee Day, the Docloop team organized a hands-on environmental initiative aimed at supporting pollinators and raising awareness about the critical role bees play in preserving our ecosystems.
The event was held in collaboration with JGL Pharma at a pollinator garden near Silosi in Belgrade. Our focus was on planting nectar-rich flowers, learning more about these fascinating creatures, and experiencing their world up close. We had the rare opportunity to observe live beehives and witness the intricate workings of their micro-society.
Why Bees Matter More Than Ever
Bees and other pollinators are vital for biodiversity and global food security. Without them, many crops and wild plants wouldn’t be able to reproduce, impacting not just agriculture but entire ecosystems.
Sadly, bee populations are declining due to pollution, pesticide use, climate change, and habitat loss. That’s why local action and awareness are more important than ever—starting with small, meaningful steps like planting bee-friendly flowers.
What We Did
During the event, we:

Planted 24 mint and 24 geranium plants, chosen for their benefits to pollinators

Took part in an interactive educational workshop about bees and their importance

Got an up-close look at functioning beehives and even spent time with the bees

In the spirit of shared responsibility for the environment and future generations, on the symbolic date of December 12th, Docloop organized a green initiative during which we planted 12 carefully cultivated ash trees, approximately 10 years old, in the municipality of New Belgrade, along Milutin Milankovic Boulevard.
This initiative, carried out with the support of the Municipality of New Belgrade, Public Utility Company for Greenery, and our valuable partners Ecoserein, Energy Star, SDT Group, Novosti, Printec, and Dragon Maritime, symbolizes our commitment to preserving nature and improving the quality of life in urban areas.
Why is ecology important?
Every tree planted is a step closer to a healthier and cleaner environment. Ash trees, as a long-lived and resilient species, plays a crucial role in reducing air pollution, regulating temperature, and creating pleasant urban landscapes.
These trees not only bring life to the cityscape but are also significant allies in the fight to preserve ecosystems. Their presence symbolizes our desire for a healthier and more sustainable environment for all generations.

The cleanup event titled “Let the Sava River be Blue,” organized in anticipation of the International Sava River Day on June 1st, concluded with great success. The event was organized by the company Docloop in cooperation with JVP Srbijavode. The event was attended by Irena Vujović, the Minister of Environmental Protection, Miloš Vidović, the President of the Savski Venac Municipality, a large number of citizens, as well as employees from various public enterprises in Belgrade, such as “Zelenilo Beograd,” “Beogradski vodovod i kanalizacija,” “Gradska čistoća,” and water management companies “Beogradvode” and “Galovica.”
More than 200 participants cleaned the area under the Ada Bridge, which is one of the most polluted and requires special attention and waste removal.
With great pleasure, we organized educational workshops and a sports class for the youngest participants, highlighting the importance of environmental protection.
We extend our gratitude to all participants who selflessly dedicated their time and energy to help preserve our nature. Their effort and dedication are crucial for the success of such actions and demonstrate how important it is for all of us to care for our planet together.

In line with the growing awareness of the importance of environmental conservation, companies Docloop doo and Ecoserein have joined forces with the Public Enterprise of Fruška Gora National Park to commemorate World Forest Day in an effective and inspiring manner. As part of our committed initiative, which planned the planting of 600 oak saplings, on Thursday, March 14th, we successfully planted more than 115 trees. This commendable effort is not merely a symbolic gesture but a concrete action that will contribute to the preservation of ecosystems and the creation of a healthier and cleaner environment for future generations.
As part of this comprehensive action, we designed an educational segment that attracted significant attention from participants. During this segment, representatives from the management of the Public Enterprise of Fruška Gora National Park shared their extensive knowledge on the biodiversity of this exceptional natural treasure. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the diverse plant and animal species inhabiting the park, as well as to understand more deeply the challenges this ecologically important area faces today. Through open and inspiring discussion, attendees gained insight into the complexity of preserving natural habitats and the role each individual can play in protecting and enhancing these precious ecosystems.
After completing the afforestation work at the Terazije site in the heart of Fruška Gora National Park, together with our partners and clients, we organized an unforgettable event as the final seal of the successfully completed job. This moment of gathering was not only an opportunity to celebrate the progress made in nature conservation but also a chance to strengthen mutual cooperation and exchange ideas. In a relaxed atmosphere of socializing, all volunteers had the opportunity to discuss further steps in environmental conservation and enjoy a meal with a view of the newly planted oak saplings that will grow and contribute to the richness of this beautiful natural oasis.
Docloop, as an environmentally conscious company engaged in business digitalization and the first licensed information intermediary by the Ministry of Finance for the exchange of electronic invoices and other electronic documents, generously included the nonprofit organization Otisak in the entire process of organizing green actions. Docloop, Otisak, and Ecoserein have already successfully organized an afforestation action in March 2023. As part of our ecological platform 0tisak, we conducted a reforestation campaign in collaboration with the Public Enterprise Srbijašume and the company Ecoserein. During this initiative, 350 new poplar trees were planted at the Forest Management Unit Rit, marking World Forest Day.

The Serbian national wheelchair basketball team achieved an outstanding result at the European Championship C Division in Bulgaria, finishing 4th place among ten teams. In the bronze medal match, our players fought against the strong Belgium team and showed incredible determination, perseverance, and team spirit.
For us at Docloop, this success has special meaning because a part of this journey was our colleague Nikola Đurđević, the team manager of the national team. His words best capture the atmosphere and the strength of the team:

“For twenty days we breathed as one, we were a family. It is not a failure to finish fourth among 10 teams coming from countries with far greater investments in this sport.”

Nikola inspires us with his commitment, dedication, and strength of spirit, and we are proud to have him on our team. This result shows that unity, self-belief, and perseverance can push boundaries even in sports where challenges are immense and resources limited.
We congratulate our players on this great success and thank them for representing Serbia with dignity, passion, and heart.

Docloop is among the recipients of the national “Đorđe Vajfert” award for 2024, presented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia to the most socially responsible companies in the country. This recognition confirms that business sustainability, community engagement, and the development of responsible practices are not just values we advocate but an integral part of our everyday operations.
The award is granted to companies whose operations contribute to social development, improvement of the working environment, environmental protection, and ethical conduct towards employees, partners, and the community. This year, the competition was strong — with over 30 companies applying — and the jury thoroughly reviewed and verified the candidates’ activities, including site visits.
What stands behind this recognition
Docloop has been recognized as an organization that consistently promotes the principles of corporate social responsibility. Over the past year, we implemented a number of initiatives, including:

We started the first day by exploring the untouched nature, riding e-bikes through the hilly trails of Tara. We covered as much as 40 km through dense forests, meadows, and with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. The feeling of freedom and the adrenaline rush as we conquered challenging terrains created unforgettable memories.

This was a great opportunity for us to socialize outside of the office and get to know our colleagues better. Docloop strives to preserve the environment and promote healthy physical activities in nature because it is precisely nature that inspires us and maintains our mental and physical well-being.
